BUT FIRST, COFFEE
If you've been working or living in a big town for years or it's your first day, you'll know that coffee is the staple drink of any bustling town. Whether it's a paper cup you're holding onto precariously to avoid making a mess in the middle of your rush to work because you half consciously decided that it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more minutes in bed and "the traffic won't be that bad", or your surge of motivation in a cafe window as you start a thesis that you definitely should've started a week ago and deadline is looming over you but you're trying not to cry in public: coffee is there for you.
If your week is now far behind you and Saturday morning, having found the perfect parking space, has nothing more pressing on your mind than starting your lazy Saturday morning in a fitting way for someone who just ?deserves it?, coffee is there for you.
There's no ten year journey to the vast mountains of Brazil to hand pick the perfect bean, or a super complex and super secret recipe with just enough floral notes that we keep hidden in our basement. Here at The Divine on The Green, we believe that there's beauty in simplicity: a quality coffee bean blend and careful preparation and occasionally something just a little different.
All of our coffees have an espresso base that has been locally sourced and tested by all of us here at The Divine on The Green. Our aim is to brew this blend to produce the best coffee possible: bitter but not too bitter, rich but not too rich, and most importantly smooth.

Juan Saldarriago is a young coffee producer who took over his family farms a few years ago. We had the pleasure of staying with him for a few days to visit his farms, learn about his production and select this lot from La Claudina.
La Claudina is a short drive from the city of Antioquia. The farm house is at the bottom of the valley and the farms steep slopes are planted with Caturra, Castillo, Tabi. Variedad Colombia and even Geisha. During the height of the season Juan will employ 45 pickers and out of season the farm employs 3 permanent staff. What drew us to working with Juan is his hands on approach, he lives by the farm, works the land, processes the coffee and experiments. Juan's two farms are quite large so we can grown together as part of a more direct buying model.
We have also brought a natural process coffee from Juan and a pink bourbon microlot, these coffees will be released in the next few months.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A COFFEE CONNOISSEUR TO ENJOY COFFEE.
